Hi!!

   I'm Shailene, better known as Shai, owner and artist of Shai's Funtastic Face Painting.  I studied at Brock University and received a BA in Child and Youth Studies, and a Masters of Education in Teaching, Learning and Development.  I have been working with kids for over 20 years.  

   I first fell in love with face painting in 2015 while performing with Frozen Parties.  I knew that I had to share more of my artistic side with the world and one day I decided to go all in, and ordered my first big haul of professional face painting supplies for Shai's Funtastic Face Painting!!!  Ever since, Shai's Funtastic Face Painting has been bringing the FUNTASTIC celebrations to EVERY event! Over the years I have grown so much! I was able to attended a FABULOUS Masters Class with the very talented Natalie Davis and hope to add more Masters Classes along my face painting journey. I have painted for WNED-TV Kid Fest,  I have been a long-time entertainer for Hamilton, Burlington, Waterdown, Grimsby and Dundas community events, and hope to continue to service Southern Ontario for many years to come!

   Over the years, I have been able to celebrate with so many amazing people and kiddos at their special events! I am so excited to celebrate with you and make your next event a FUNTASTIC one to remember!
